About Morsi's Mediterranean Grill
Chef Morsi, originally from Port Said Egypt, moved to Virginia 12 years ago, finally settling in Fredericksburg VA. With formal training as a Pastry Chef, he began his career as an Executive Pastry Chef in 5-Star Sofitel Hotels.
Since arriving to the United States, Chef Morsi has spent the past 12 years managing family owned restaurants in both Woodbridge and Fredericksburg. Last year, he and his wife Donna decided it was time for the Morsi family to share some of their favorite recipes and connect with the Fredericksburg community.
With the support of friends of family, their dream was realized with the opening of Morsi's Mediterranean Grill on 28 July 2012.
